Really aged beautifully. The pinot noir component provides some earthy structure to hold it all together. On the nose, still has bright, youthful, brambly raspberry aromatics from the zin. Pleasant texture on the palate, with raspberry, a twinge of pepper, and earthy notes aft. Echoes bright raspberry on the finish, with a hint of cocoa and baking spice. Really very pleasant, and quite a surprise.

Great drinking wine. A little sweeter than his Red Table Wine but a nice smooth, wet wine.

Great table wine with a more complexity and structure than what you would expect from a similarly priced everyday red. Looking forward to more of this from Loxton in the future. Highly recommended for the price.

easy drinking 43% syrah, 42% zin, Pinot 15%. the Pinot really comes out in the earthy undertones, the nose out of the bottle was like candy the zin gives it a little zest and tart cherries on the finish
