Sanguis Chardonnay Loner W13-a Bien Nacido Vineyard

Consistent with previous tasting note. This is really quite nice.

Very nice Chard. Straw color with medium to medium heavy mouth feel. lemon, Apricot, apple, even a little cantaloupe. Plenty of oak and acidity helps frames this wine and makes it extremely versatile. Easy to enjoy and leaves you wanting more.

Pop and pour. In the glass, pale and slightly cloudy yellow. On the nose, honeysuckle and acacia. On the palate, leads with ample peach and lemon, backed up by significant but not overbearing acidity, and a relatively long finish. This makes it particularly well suited for food, in our case a mozz/tomato/basil salad and spicy shrimp pasta.

Nose: Apple, lemon fruited with some nice almond and brioche/toast notes that are subtle. Palate: Good density and fresh acidity and gives this a lifted burgundian kind of approach. Finish: honeycrisp apple, lemon notes with a bit of smoke and nut notes.

(Tasted at the Winery) Restrained at this stage of its development. Sweet clover and slight clove in the bouquet. Provides a taste of the earth with apricot and apple on the palate with some tartness and saline qualities. Straw colored; beautiful necklace. (���� = Worth Seeking Out)
