50% Pinot Noir 30% Chardonnay 20% Pinot Meunier, 12,5% alc Oog: Bleekgoud, vol, matige viscositeit en langzame tranen ? Veel kleine parels in de kroon. Neus: Acacia, rijpe appel, peer, abrikoos, limoen, hint van pompelmoes, toast. Mond: Zacht fruitig, minder scherpe zuren, in evenwicht met iets meer restsuiker dan je zou verwachten van een Brut. Aangekocht met 50% korting want 39,99€ is te veel.

Amazingly neutral. Very gentle and cautious in its taste. Not a lot to like, but certainly nothing to dislike. Is this the style of the house? Where is the brioche/caramel/vanilla? Too much of those, like in some champagnes I tasted recently, I do dislike, but something should be there, right? Moreover, also the fruit is modest and limited to white/yellow, nothing more. Acidity? Hardly any. Maybe "neat" is the right word here.

More fruity than I expected. Hints of apple, pineapple and brioche

Typical chardonnay nose and flavors. Nice bead. Drinking with colleagues in the Gustav Eiffel ballroom, Eiffel Tower, Paris.

A private lunch (Restaurant La Vie ***, Osnabrück, Germany) : Pale salmon colour, spices, ripe fruit (strawberry, peach, citrus), seamless and silky yet fresh, quite forward but really elegant and flowing, very good length. Not profound but attractive and stylish.
