Fun! Ice cider from Sweden! Tart!

Absolutely sensational! I have nothing to compare this with, being the first apple ice wine (Iscider = ice cider, but I'm not sure that as good of a description). From what I understand, apples don't ripen fully in northern Sweden, so they pick tart, unripe apples from the trees when they freeze in early winter. This is tasty and has some complexity, and a lot of apple character. 147 g/l residual sugar but feels less sweet, I actually expected it to be more syrupy. I think I would prefer this with a little more aging, to tone down the acidity and gain even more complexity. It is quite expensive but has its own niche I guess.

This ice cider has a golden-yellow color, almost brownish. The aroma features notes of apple and apricot, with a sweet and tangy profile. On the palate, it is well-balanced, offering a long-lasting finish.

Balanced, high acid. Alot of apple. A bit Normandie Cider notes
