Had with friends at a BYO restaurant after buying it at a nearby store on the recommendation of the owner. Very pleasant example of a St Emilion. Nice red fruit nose, a bit closed initially on the palate but improved; soft tannins, good struture and moderate red fruit, medium finish. Will definitely improve with age but fine to drink now; perfect with my duck dish.
