Ca Rugate, Soave, Classico San Michele

Pale lemon colour. Medium and youthful nose with ripe yellow apples, toast and ripe lemon. Medium taste of ripe yellow apples, toast, ripe lemon and baked apples. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A good Soave. Drink now. Goes well as an aperitif, or with fish or salads.

Tasting 46 in 2024 I continue exploring Italian whites and nicely priced whites at that. My first Soave I chose this Soave classico because it is 100% Garganega and I wanted a solid representation of Veneto/Soave in this bright white wine.
