Sichel, Pauillac

Bought to pair with a 40 day dry aged steak and the pairing worked well. The wine was poured into glass and allowed to sit for about 20 minutes. Seemed about right. Nose was dark with some rich black fruited notes, embers, touch of earth and clearly Bordeaux and Pauillac. Palate was firm, dark and quite nice as it coated the mouth. Finished medium long and dry.
