This has leafy and deep cherry aromas like a nice Burgundy and — here's where it's different — the subtle but unmistakable hint of worcestershire. So you get the sweet, salty, and umami characteristics right off the bat. Long flavors of tobacco, cherry, and forest floor compliment the rustic picture. Beautiful acidity sustains the finish. Really fresh tasting and so well balanced; a terrific wine from unheralded terroir.
