Med lemon, restrained lemon and vanilla on the nose. Palate packs a punch, grapefruit, lemon pith, rounded out by some fresher pear notes and vanilla. Really nice long finish. 90+ this is early in its window.

Söndags vinet, till fläskfilé gryta med grädde, cream fraîche, svamp mm. fått en fin gulaktig färg,fruktig doft, äpple, persika, citrus och lite fat i tonerna. Medelfyllig, torr, fruktig smak med god kropp, balanserad syra och sammansatta toner med bra längd.

Chamomile, pear, lime and flint aromas. Apple, pear, lime, brioche, oak and wet stone on the palate. This was very nice. Felt fresh on the palate with some medium plus acidity.

Really, really badly corked. Disappointing. First of these across several vintages to be in this shape. And so unusual for a wine of its era.

Very pleasurable. Ripe, floral, honeyed, yellow fruit, apricot and peach. Slightly mineral, then cleansing finish. Not showing any signs of age. Not complex, but very enjoyable.

Intensity medium. Initially a bit confusing aromas, but this turned better with additional oxygen (would recommend using the decanter when drinking this wine young). Lemon, red apple, young nectarine, ginger, spot of cream, touch of oak -all very delicate. Acidity medium(+). Finish long.

Superb. Balanced nose of lemon, chalk and fruit. More on the palate with a touch of wet wool. The energy and finish make this mouth-watering. So well judged.

In der Nase Wollwachs, etwas nasser Stein, recht reifer Apfel, etwas Steinobst und helle kräutrige Noten. Am Gaumen recht warm, fast etwas üppig. Allerdings durch die sehr würzige und angenehm säuregeprägte Art gut in Balance. Mittelgang, ein Spasswein mit reichlich Anspruch.

Frisk nese med stikkelsbær, litt sitron og fat. Kraftig mineralsk anslag, nøytral hvit/gul frukt, en del fatpreg men veldig pen burgundsk eik. Litt pepper og voks. Veldig sterk mineralsk nerve gjennom hele smakskurven. Nesten Lamy-aktig. Lang. Litt valnøtt og tre også, det var litt suspekt kork, så mistenker noe mer utvikling enn optimalt. Veldig god mineraldrevet vin, fremstår ekstremt fresh selv om syra antagelig ikke er superhøy. Ikke tropisk. Saltmineralsk og veldig lang.

At the start of its drinking window and albeit every bit as well made and welcoming it lacks a bit of depth and dare we say complexity. We do think time will be kind here on account of its structure with that firm acidity and all out minerality . Very pretty wine just needs time we think. 90-91

Pale golden yellow (darker that expected). Waxy, baked apples, marzipan, citrus. Smooth, good mouth feel, apricots, lemon sherbet, barley sugars, great acidity, long finish. Excellent white blend (Chenin blanc and other Mediterranean varieties), 6 years of age puts this in a great place, mature notes with great acidity. Good now, will probably be good in 3+ years. Excellent QPR at $30.

Zesty bright lemony nose. Crisp, bright fruit. Lovely texture and depth for such a young wine. As it's warming up from too cold restaurant serving temperature, it's really developing depth and bags of interest.

Laser beam of acidity segues to an oily, mouth-coating finish. Amazing wine from a great producer in great a vintage. Nearly perfect now but still youthful. 2022-2026

Mullineux 2-day vertical; 9/12/2022-9/13/2022 : Young and tight and needs decanting. Similar to the incredible 2017 but with flavors less opulent or delineated. It’s got that lemon oil component but the alcohol is too prominent right now. One can hope it will better emulate its older sibling with some bottle age. 2023-2026

A decidedly good bottle....my last of the '17s. Carol made a great white wine beurre blanc sauce with it and we each had a nice glass with the risotto and pan sauteed black grouper tonight. It was a perfect pairing. This '17 with a tad brighter lemon than some other vintages. A natural with this fish. Wonderful acidity, lemon and bright high toned notes throughout.

A bit more air this time and much going on. Lovely, good, especially give the price. Flintiness on the nose, stone fruit, yellow apple, nutty. On the palate just ripe yellow apple, a bit waxy. Long, bit spicy finish. High acidity Will be looking out for more

Ist noch (für mich) überraschend reduktiv und auch noch etwas vom Holzausbau geprägt, geht aber nach einer Stunde in der Karaffe wunderbar auf. Hat steinige, ganz dezent rauchige, nussige Noten und sowie vor allem die für Chenin typischen kräftigeren Eindrücke von gebackenem Apfel und etwas Wachs in der Nase. Mit viel Luft wird es auch deutlich kräutrig. Am Gaumen schon ein eher warmer Stil, wobei hier eine sehr schöne, feine Säure erkennbar ist und der Wein auch nie wirklich breit …

Big time winner. Selected from the wine menu at suchi restaurant Uchi. Gorgeous floral, melon, and tropical fruit flavors. Don't discount this just because its a blend. I think the blend creates exceptional depth and beauty.

A fabulous white with kaleidoscopic flavours that’s hard to pin down. Apple, pear and mineral and waxy and chalky. A 30 seconds finish to boot. This has really improved.
