Very buttery on the nose. Lacking complexity. Flat and kind of boring outside of the minerality on the finish. Disappointing. Probably better 3 years ago.

At peak now. Nice golden colour. Excellent nose of pineapple, orange and butter. Very complex fruit. Delicate balance of sweetness and acidity. Long finish. Only problem is that the wine deteriorated quite fast in the glass, suggesting that it cannot be kept for long.

Nose was larger than the flavor but both agreed. If anything the oak is a bit bigger than expected. Muted tropicals with mineral notes on the finish. Nothing stunning but still a very nice almost elegant seafood wine.

First of my 2002 Colin-Delegers to suffer from the premox disease. Not completely shot, but golden-yellow and advanced. Not very enjoyable. I stopped buying C-D and most other white burgs after 2002. My discrete CT scale: 95-extraordinary; 90-very good; 85-good; 80-fair; 75-poor
