Tasted together with the 2019. While neither wine on their own was particularly amazing, together they were much more. The ‘91 was more about deeper soil tones and mature spices, not much fruit left, but it still had a captivating energy to it and kept changing in the glass. Holiday Burgundy Lunch : Served blind. I don't recall ever having smelled so much cinnamon on the nose of a red Burgundy before. Just a crazy amount of cinnamon. This seemed younger than a '91, dark color with clean and very rich fruit. Quite excellent, and clearly room for more development.

Wow - lovely notes of dried rose petal, tea leaves, even touch of dried cherry. Color was still quite nice.

Not very aged on the colour. Become medium ruby slightly on the light side, but the side aren't garnet nor really aged. Nose very Dujac-ish. Cherries with some freshness. Quite gentle and balance on the palate, a rather feminine Echezeaux but later it grows more complexity & rustiness on the tongue. Aftertaste medium, could be great if it's longer. Wonderful wine for 1991 to enjoy now. 16.5/20
