Somewhat translucent, dark black cherry color. Open, complex and slightly wild bouquet with tantalizing aromas of fresh, cranberry-driven red fruits, crushed peppercorns, some floral tones of violets, a hint of sweet VA and a whiff of Campari-ish citrus aromas. Bright, pure and refreshing palate with quite light body. Flavors of tart lingonberries, rowanberries, some peppery spice and a hint of peppery spice. I liked this better than Le mauvais temps, in part because I let it breather for a while before serving. The barnyard/natural aromas recede and give way to nicely defined tart cherries, lots of stoniness in the background, and an appealing and food-friendly (if not elegant) acidity. It's very much alive and energetic, all in all a good bottle.

Resembles a "natural style" beaujolais from a warm year like 2009. Really nice fruit, minerality and understated barnyard notes. Charming, gulpable wine.

Blind Tasting - Southwest France (My Home) : Sense of natural wine right from the nose. Barnyard. Get more focused with more air. Chili pepper flakes, violet with a nice mix of red (cherry) and dark (blackberry) fruits. Rather smooth tannnins with a lively citrusy acidity, supple. Really got better with air. 100% Fer Servadou.
