Medium salmon color. On the nose aromas of roses, red cherries, cola and vanilla. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium fine tannins, medium body, and palate reflecting the nose, with a lingering finish. Contrary to prior reviews, this is still drinking well at 8 yrs out- a very good wine.

In fairness to the wine and producer, this wine was past its peak. At the winery they would have you keep this 3-5 years. This is marketed as a rosato, light wine which was orange colored and more rust colored than a newer vintage.
