Decent wine for a mediocre vintage from a great house. Not for aging. Probably a better idea to get bottles of Meo's valley floor production in a great year if possible.

Sweet, ripe strawberries with a hint of mint on the nose. A combination everybody loves! Some strawberry on the palate with a punch of pepper which makes it a very nice wine. I personally love the '07's from Burgundy. They're silky smooth and tasty. Not that complex but delicious.

It has the sweetness and spiciness which is typical for the '07 Burgundies (the better ones) A hint of 'curry gewürz'. Lovely palate. Fruity, slightly spicy and fresh. I like it very much

Fresco com aromas a frutos pequenos como cereja, amoras. Em boca equilibrado, bastante agradável de beber, garrafa terminada rapidamente, guloso. Falta complexidade quando comparamos com outros de lá região.

Great nose showcasing plenty of stinky earth, as well as rich black cherries, black pepper, boysenberries, mint, anise, and some violet floral notes. This is even spicier on the palate with more black pepper coming through, along with more rich black cherries, boysenberry, pomegranate, anise, clove, and a hint of fresh mint. Great firm acidity with a medium+ length finish ending on notes of black cherries and anise. Despite its youth this is showing really well right now. Nice rich …

Pre-Trip Dinner #2 (Pied-á-Terre) : Nice Asian spice with sweet dark pinot fruit, earth and hints of floral. Richer and fairly weighty in the mouth with dark cherry flavours and a nice really spicy finish. Solid acid here with fine tannins. Showing very well already but there’s more to come. Very good. 89+

Just a beautiful nose displaying plenty of earthy funk, bright red cherries, spicy black pepper and clove, anise, asphalt, violet floral notes, and a hint of dark fruits. Tons of bing cherry comes to the forefront on the palate, along with earthy mushroom, bacon fat, clove and black pepper spice, and black cherries. Medium acidity compliments the evident yet soft tannins. Medium+ length finish ending on notes of tart cherries and clove. Just a knockout nose with plenty of Burgundy …

Pale, great nose. Funky burgundian - spice, berry etc. tannins softening, and some length. Love the wine!

Ordered off the list at Spruce in SF. Started a touch tight, but opened quickly, showing a beautiful perfume and generous black cherry and raspberry fruit. Almost medium bodied, this has more weight and depth than I was expecting. Acidity to balance and a bit of clove and wood spice. Really nice, another '07 that's drinking well right now.

Meo-Camuzet dinner with Jean-Nicolas Méo (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL) : Mostly black cherry aromas, then both black and red cherry flavors of medium weight. Some underbrush hints, a few sharp edges at finish. Medium length. Very good Villages level wine to drink young, starting next year when perhaps this will soften a little more.
