Soft, creamy, oily with hints of honey-like sweetnes. Perfectly ripe, plenty of fruit. Mature, but in no way fading. Gets better and better, extremely fresh. #ÅretsRet

Good yellow color. Notes of apple, white peach and mineral with subtle petrol nuances. Pear and mineral flavors with nice underlying acidity and a mendium plus finish.

Fat Tuesday at the Haggis House : I opened a bottle of this with a few other CWM at a Fat Tuesday party at the Haggis house. Similar notes but I liked the wine slightly better this time around. 90 points.

I bought this on sale and opened it at a Superbowl party over the weekend. Wine Enthusiast gave this 93 points and quoted a list price of $40. The Christmann family has been making wine since 1575. In the early 80's, the estate purchased 10 acres of Königsbach's Grand Cru site, Idig. They replanted many of the vines.
