Very well balanced, but not yet at its peak. Let it breathe for 1-1,5 hours. Perfect.

Lots of lime and ripe lemon mingle with slate, iodine and floral notes. Hints of unripe pear and peach. On the palate pure with more slate and assortement of citrus fruits. Fresh, just showing hints of maturity. Medium+ lenght. Good stuff!

(at Weinhaus Stetter - Stuttgart) Really liked this. The most evolved and complex of the trio this evening. Lacked a bit of bite that was a cornerstone of the Weil but this is fine. (92)

At wine tasting in vertical line up with 2014 and 2016. Clearly the best of the 3 and quite developed, yellow and ready. Some petrolium, floral - but also still very fresh, mineral and with lots of lemon. A very nice riesling from a very good year.

Open 2 hrs before drinking. nose: flinty, lemon, sea breeze, quite ripe. Palate: lemon fruit dominated, lively acidity wrapped, mineral subtle, tea with a bit hard finishing, good! Start entering into drinking window and has plenty of life ahead. It's subtleness quite amazing!

Smells of summer - peaches, apple blossoms, orange zest and mango. Hits the palate quite softly, but widens after a few seconds and coats the mouth with pineapple and mango. Quite a lot of weight and a texture like round tannins in the finish. After a few moments it opens up and plays more of it's notes. Reminds me of Stabat Mater 5: Qui Est Homo (Pergolesi) A bit young at the moment, probably around 5 years from it's optimal …

A bit closed down at the moment. Quite powerfull, sweet fruit with apricot, pear and hints of honey. Good depth and still lively acids. Very pure without any dirt or petroleum. Leave in the cellar for now. Try again in 2018.

Aroma av grønne epler, sitron, pære, litt honning,litt nesle, I munnen er det god fylde med en flott syre som balansere vinen veldig godt. God GG som fungert godt til grillede kyllingspyd marinert med "eksotiske" krydder.

This bottle was not allowed to breathe as much as last one, which I drank over several days, and therefore was a bit more one-dimensional to start with. Improved with time in the glass. I recommend decanting an hour or so. But take care to keep the temperature from rising too much, as this is best around 10-12 degrees celsius. Otherwise consistent with previous note.

Very pure, but also very concentrated cristaline fruit domiated by heavy lemon, then some apple, pear and peach. Some white flowers, mint and dandelion. Lively acid on the palate, balanced by powerfull fruit. Pure 'pebbles in a stream' minerality, no trace of smoke, diesel fumes or rubber. Amazingly, almost magically pure! Finishes with citrus and a hint of grape. Lovely stuff!
