One of the better WA syrahs that is isn't over the top in ripeness. Pepper. Big lush with real red mountain terrior. Lots going on but accessable.

Holy toledo, can you say PEPPER. The nose practically jumps out of the glass at you, singeing nosehairs with red and black fruits, a touch of very mild green pepper, and some definite alcohol. The palate has so much pepper on it it's like a mistake was made in the kitchen. I'm remember why at the end of a day of wine tasting we walked out of Sparkman with bottles of this.
