The nose has lots of fresh red fruits surrounded by subtle vanilla oak, cocoa and savoury notes. It is a restrained nose for a Barossa Shiraz. Balanced structure with good depth of fruits instead of outright concentration is the strengths of this wine. Some might this Shiraz is a touch too safe. It is ready to drink after an hour of breathing and it will continue to improve for the next 3-5 years.

Expressive, complex nose of cassis, scorched earth, mint, coffee, molasses. Some woody notes evident which need time to integrate. In the mouth it shows a fabulous fruit concentration, yet strikes a curious balance between liveliness and syrupy concentration. Plush tannins evident on the finish. Should cellar for another decade or more.

Double decanted, over powering wave after wave of cherries, mocca, leather, cocoa, vanilla, pepper steak. The palate hits you with a tidal force of utter destruction, an angry ball of punchy sweet alcoholic elixir. It is too young to know what it wants to do other than pummel your tonsils and leave you with a 19 second flavour explosion. This is seriously impressive shiraz.
