A very good Aussie Chardonnay that is quite classy - refined oak handling and excellent fruit weight. It is an excellent example of a New World wine but comes cross as slightly bland but plenty of juicy fruit. A very good wine that was simply outclassed by comparison of the Girardin Corton Charlamagne 200 that was drunk the night before. Drunk with a warm lobster salad - the wine's oak just did not marry as well as I woul dhave …
