Very smooth mouthfeel, rich and supple dark berry tastes. Not a lot of complexity, but a nice finish. This would be a good one for people who are getting into wines and would be put off by tannins or other sharpness. It was truly mellow, in line with the Mellowood name.

Vintage Select Industry Tasting (Vintage Select Warehouse, Houston, TX) : Nice mix of red and blue fruit on the nose with hints of licorice and pepper. On the palate cherry, blueberry, pepper, licorice, and vanilla. Nice finish with good balance. Excellent.
