TTTG Blind (North by Northwest) (ER) : Tart, sour herbal cherry, spice, loads of sage on the amazing, captivating nose. Rich; almost crunchy. Undoubtedly New World Cab Franc, and a treat. My wine of the night.

Floral notes along with cedar, celery, spice and cherry. Earth character on the finish. A bit past peak but still drinkable.

Rich, elegant, drinking great. One of those wines you kick yourself over not having purchased more.

Wow, what a wine; what a cab franc! Terrific taste, nose and color; we all agreed it was one of the best, most complete cab francs we'd ever had. big, balanced and succulent.

Vacation Wines: Pride, Matrot, Owen Roe, Two Hands, etc.; 8/7/2011-8/15/2011 (Family Beach Cottage, Scarborough, Maine) : Quick note. Decanted one hour. Very deep, ripe and rich--perhaps just a touch warm. Full-bodied, jammy and full of ripe, dark fruit, this powerful wine is at its peak and should be drunk over the next couple of years.

Concentrated and drinking well with blueberries, earth, coffee and blackberries. Medium finish and tannins have mellowed out since the last time I had this wine. Drink now.

BBQ with Big Reds (Judith's House) : Very Dark color. Gorgeous wine with enticing nose of anise, earth dark fruit, cedar, very aromatic. Beautifully balance, elegant, long finish. This is one of the nicest Cab Francs i've ever had. 93-94 pts.

On the downside, drink now. Still pretty good with Chicken Liver Pate, but don't wait...

Same as the last few times I have tasted. Earthy funk mixed with blueberries and pie crust aromas. The palate is very fresh and shows fresh cedary, cherry flavors. Finish is elegant and not sappy.

This is a fantastic wine, almost a 95 pointer (which would be my highest ever). Complex, balanced with lots of character. Aged almost to perfection, this has lots of juicy young cab franc character, sweet black cherry and berry fruit, some herbal notes, nice sweetness with lots of juicy character. really fantastic long smooth finish.

Very nice Cab Franc. Floral tones, blueberry, dark chocolate, fine tannins, vanilla oak in the backround. Solid attack, mid-palate and finish.

Dark berry and chocolate nose. Intense floral perfume tones with youthful fruit on the palate. Long finish with moderate tannins. Better than I had expected. Rebuy-yes.

- Decanted for 2 hours. Wow! Do these guys know how to push my comfy buttons! Opulent aromas of spiced, over-ripe cherries, lavender, touches of savory herbs, fresh berries and an undertone of chocolate. All of these aromatic components dance well together. - plush and silky entry with tons of black fruit, bitter chocolate and raspberry flavors. - A touch youthfully hot but long, svelte and powerful. Delicious now but I think it will really start to sing in a …

SO, it was bludgeoned with a "kilmore" of oak---very strident with pure, ripe, PURE and clean fruits--It needs 3 years to taste it again---well made, but made with so much oak--built to age, and to soften with balance, grace, and reverence, reflecting upon sheer form and power, yielding to wisdom, spirit, and integrated wine/food balance--worth seeking out, if you can find it.
