Moden, lys gyllengul farge. 50+5+13+16+7= 91 p.

This is in a prime drinking stage! No formal notes taken. Everybody was raving about it.

Leads with peach or nectarine or even cherry on the nose and in the mouth, good minerality on the core, decent length on a combo of acidity and slight residual sugar. Is off-off-dry a thing? This is nice while also missing that intense minerality and bracing acidity I look for in a Saar riesling.

A rich golden color. Nose of fresh sweet citrus, kumquats, creamy grapefruit and floral notes. On the palate a great mouth feel with terrific balanced ctirus and white fruit combined with lifting acidity and amazing power without weight. A touch of sweetness really balances out the acidity and is lovely with food. Great length and persistence on the finish. This is excellent and drinking very well right now.

Pop and pour. Lovely. On the nose: wet stone, pink grapefruit, cotton candy, soft kumquat. On the palate: fantastic acidity, pink grapefruit, sweet tangerine, and such presence. Lovely!

Pop'n pour Nose > Lime-flesh, grapefruit & lemon-oil, white-nectarine, lavender, apricot, lime-creme, red-cherry & limestone on-the-rocks. With air adds creamy nectarine-skin, violet, a hint of Chartreuse & some pungent musk. Palate > Big rich firm mouthful. Lemon-oil, lime-flesh, creamy white nectarine, crystallized citrus-pith, apricot/tart-apricot, Morello & Rainier cherry. Adds richness, some riper orchard fruit, powdered minerals & a subtle yet powerful creamy nectarine-skin/skin-contact background element w/air. Great, integrated, ripe acidity. Med++ intensity, depth & length. Drinks off-dry. More quietly impressive …

Very upfront sugar and acidity. Melon and lime, great balance. A lovely wine coming into its drinking window

Very aromatic, cool fruit, mineraly, sitrus, chalky, botrytis, apricot. Medium body, medium + acidity, high consentration, ok balanced, complex, some CO2 to begin with, a hint of bitterness in the middle. Still very young, and will probably evolve nicely in the years to come.

This seemed very reticent. The nose was very little expressive but in the mouth, on the second day, it showed this mouthfilling off-dry fruit and minerality with multiple aromatic dimensions. Excellent but less luminous than the Saarfeilser GG 2015 and the Fass 1 2018. Will probably improve with some years.

Very classic Lauer. This is one of my favorite bottlings. Neunberg sits at the base of the Kupp vineyard, literally meaning 'new mountain'. It is elegant and precise with incredible tension. Native yeast in old wood vat, RS/TA hovers around 'just dry' or 'perceptibly' dry. This is young but very hard to resist!

Grapefruit, lime blossom, and wet stone. Relatively straightforward, but delicious. Good now.

More white peaches than citrus. I was expecting a little bit more minerality and acidity. Paired well with spicy ramen (at Totto). Very young. If I had more, I would revisit in 5yrs.

Great dry German Riesling. Smashed mint, shiso, bergamot, kaffir lime. Clean and zippy.

På denne vinen er det 35 g/l reststødme og 9,5% alkohol. Vinen er rik på nesen med mer moden sitrus, nektar og med et fint hint av nøtt. Vinen er middels fyldig med meget sødmefulle epler og litt toffee. Syren greier jobben vin. Bra, kanskje litt ukomplisert vin dette.

Tasted at the winery. Pleasant nose of grapefruit, candied lime, and a touch of smoke. Zesty on the palate with a strong acidic backbone and tart finish. Not terribly complex, but still enjoyable.

Just lovely. Vibrant, lean, energetic. Really pleasing at this young age. Perfect lunch wine. Should be great over next 3-5 years.

Apricots, pears and then major print shop ink nose. Groovy. Unexpected fruit and sweet takes off on palate, coating mouth and tetth. Grapefruity. Turkish delight. Then fades with poppy seed muffins. Brilliant and really clear voiced. Harmony of acids, fruit and sweet on the middle which makes the rather flattened and monochromatic finish a disappointment.

Mineral wave nose like a crashing mountain stream. Mineral on the start and dried flesh. Some fruit with a little botrytis-like funk. Concentrated. Feeling of sweetness, bananas and red pepper. Good finish with a slight insect note. Granny smith apples. Thins a bit, though persistent. Final meaty notes.

"Saary not Saary" (New York City, NY) : This is starting to land in my riesling safe space. The fruit profile of this is much more pronounced, with some stone fruit (peaches) to go alongside green apples. The palate has a much more complete feel to it, in that you're not just left dangling by the acidity. Still, there's no disguising the fact that this is a wine made in a relatively leaner style.

The nose was mineral-driven and intense with crushed limestone giving way to ripe peach, granny smith apple and fresh green herbs. On the palate it was medium-bodied and soft, backed but vibrant acidity which was nearly hidden beneath notes of ripe mango, lime and a spritz of penetrating, sweet, vibrant minerality. It finished on tart citrus tones and zesty acid with caking stone dust minerals on the senses. Very nice.

The German Crush Tour; 10/8/2017-10/16/2017 : hint of clean botrytis with notes of orange blossom, peach, with yellow peach dominating the ripe mid, with hints of ripe grapefruit toward the finish. powerful, but not unapproachable wine.

The German Crush Tour; 10/8/2017-10/16/2017 : Love it. This was my personal choice from all the feinherbs to bring home. Elegant yellow peach and mineral driven wine, with mirabelle and citrus overtones, ripe lush mid leads to a more elegant back and dryer finish of zest and stone fruit. excellent.
