Gourmetklubbens fyrtiofjärde middag: Tema Mannerström (Södermalm (P+H)) : Delicious on the maturing nose filled with butterscotch and cream at first and only with time in the glass showing more citrus flowers and minerals. Smooth on the palate considering the vintage, but still in an intense way with lots of citrus acidity and a softer creamy mid before it opens up with a piercing acidity on the lengthy finish that lasts forever. 96 (Disgorged in May 2014) Lighter on the nose and feeling more youthful than many other 1996's dominated by oxidative notes are. This is filled with light notes showing brioche, citrus, flowers and nuts in a lovely combination. On the palate it's equally light and fresh showing citrus and red berries. Not dominated by acidity that so many other 96's usually are, but still enough to hold it up for quite some years to come. Nice fresh bitter lime peel …
