Tasted over 2 hrs, bottle from secondary market -dark red purple -low key ripe plum a bit grapey -med acidity, med weight subtle ripe plum enveloped by a prominent earthy bitterness that melds into the med tannins and a bit of oak -the bitter streak goes beyond adding complexity and is somewhat offputting, unclear if this is characteristic of the producer this vintage or an off bottle, surely not a feature of the site(?) though this is my first time …

Nose of dark fruit, alcohol, taste full bodied, loads of tannins, well buffered by sweetness, mature. Real strong Pommard style.
