A damn fine bottle. I gave this little air. Upon opening the wine looked way young for a 22+ year old bottle. The super light gold then got darker for the last few glasses. A mineral bomb with light petrol and flint on the nose with lemon oil. Acidity was high on opening and then settled down. This has the structure to go another 10-15. I do not see much room for improvement in the already great bottling. Paired well …

Similar impression to a year ago (exactly)-fresh, distilled essence of Riesling with lemon, green tones, and eventually some orange peel coming through. Utterly dry and mineral. Will go on for ages.

Medium yellow (relatively light for its age). Very hard to describe its nose for the first hour except to say that it smelled most like a distilled essence. Then, a bit of petrol, mint, white and green flowers. It starts out very lean and very acidic, in fact, easily the most severe, face scrunching wine I've had in some time.
