This was really great. It's taken on quite a bit of secondary character - smokey and earthy. It's still drinking well, but probably not going to get any better. After about 2 hours it started to thin out. Lovely old wine.

c - pale red, bright, not browning n - raspberries, violets t- light, perfume, quite a bit of tannin - needs food, we had steak; t. spiciness v.clean bright, no obvious oak, sweet fruit, juicy finish, some maltiness, red cherries Very vibrant and pure, like Burgundy. not a trace of jam excellent two ticks
