Excellent! Smooth, intense, very nice for a Grenache. We like this even more than the regular SQN Grenache.

S/O 2-3 hours and tasted over 2 evenings. A bit too much alcohol on the nose and palate during the first 2 glasses was a distraction. Ultra dense, typical SQN flavor profile of grilled meat, dark coffee, volcanic rock, blackberry, smoke that while discernible on day 2 was well coiled on both nights. Medium grainy tannins. The elevated alcohol went from foreground to background on the second night but never quite disappeared. Hopefully, more cellar time will tame this beast. …

Young nose with boysenberry, charcoal, and dark chocolate. Young and tight palette, but expected at this point. No barnyard funk in this Grenache. Reminds me of a young CdP.
