Amazing wine. I can bot understand lesser ratings because we had this Pinot amongs a lot od other big of a kind in a line up. Compared to much more expensive ones, this pre-final vintage of Coche Pommard was singing. Delicat flowars, wood, spices, meat, dark and red fruits with great tension and longness. Fantastic!

Nose was fantastic and very explosive - maybe a little to explosive, but it wasnt all fruity sweetness: blackberries, strawberries, wood and spices along with great minerality. On palate, not as much exciting as the nose. Highly doubt it is the age problem - maybe the Coche Dury reds are not on par with their amazing whites.
