Partida Creus SP

Fun to try but a bit too green and cidery, lacking identity. No depth or dimension to speak of, really, just an overly assertive attack. Slightly oxidative too.

I don't actually know if it was 2018 or what vintage. Light hazy yellow. Natty like a lambic gueze on the nose with citrus, peach, pear, and funky town. Palate showed a lot lemon/lime acidity... Refreshing btl.

A naturalist Subirat Parent (hence "SP"). Made with organically farmed grapes, fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, vinified without sulfites, bottled unfined and unfiltered. 12% alcohol. Hazy to slightly cloudy yellow-green color. Somewhat reductive nose with aromas of flatulent skunky character, some sappy oregano-driven herbal character, a little bit of ripe white fruit, light crunchy notes of fresh quince and sharp citrus fruits, a wild hint of nail polish VA and a tangy touch of Pecorino cheese.
