Pre-Concert Tasting (Chateau de Meursault, Meursault) : Rich, creamy, not overtly fruity. Excellent structure for the year and somewhat surprisingly, the best Meursault we had at this small tasting.

Nectar and peach sensation. Clearly ripe. Not showing much of the Perrieres terroir at this stage. A bit four-squared.

Didn't find this as jaw-dropping as all the critics, a but of flab and extant oak, still of course many years to go before peak but not sure the stuffing is there for greatness even if the pedigree is.

Not too full or too lean. Very dedicate delicate, fine and elegant. It’s young but it has noticeable complexity. Lots of sesame.

Plenty of reduction and quite meaty and cheesy/leesy. Difficult to get a read on it at the moment. There is intensity of savoury flavour and excellent acidity.
