Slightly over-developed but pleasant enough with meat pate

Drank this with haggis, mashed carrot, bashed potatoes and butter. It struggled a bit with the spicy, greasy haggis, and this pairing probably wasn't very fair on it. So, fine enough flavours but a little underpowered and lossy on structure.

Starts rather unpleasant, bitter and out of balance, but after a couple of hours of slow ox the wine loses some of the bitterness and is now not a bad drink. Somewhat thin, but with good spices and acid. Not a wine for the long run, but drinking well now 85-86p.

(Glasgow) Typical but a rather thin CNdP. CNdP for me represents heavy metal, Ogier's 2008 is more like pop music. It has elegance and a good structure, but lacks that fist to your jaw... But, as stated so well by previous taster: You get what you pay for. I'm happy with this glass of wine, but wouldn't lay down any bottles.

on opening, peppery, not much fruit on show, this wine took a good few hours of decanting to gain its depth ,not the best cndp, but you get what you pay for and this is very drinkable

Violets and white pepper on the nose. Full bodied with dark berries and silky tannins.

Not what I was expecting. Light colour, nose of dry herbs and a touch of dusty soil and cherries. The palate is medium bodied and has decent tannic structure - more old-school CDP than the gloopy fayre we are more used to. Interesting - would buy this again. Needs time to breathe
