The wine has high acidity. cool/menthol, strawberry, mint and orange zest on the nose. finishes long. It tastes like cranberry, cherry and pomegranate. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle.

Would buy again, and would highly recommend. One of the better and more unique Paso Robles wines I have tasted, possibly due to unusual grape mixture - Cinsaunt 29%, Mourvèdre 25%, Counoise 22%, Petite Sirah 11%, Grenache 8%, Syrah 5%. I would rank this wine well with some decent Napa and Sonoma wines, which is unusual for me to say about Paso Robles wines. Very drinkable by itself - has complexity, smoothness, bouquet, and taste that stand well alone. Also, …

Inky black color with lots of staining. Very fruit forward. Firm tannins and good acid. Typical Paso Robles ripe fruit and higher alcohol.

Drinking beautifully right now. My wife's comment "why can't all wines be as good as this?!?". While it may be the extracted ripe black fruit type of wine, it did have the complexity and medium to long finish that made it very enjoyable with a good steak, perfectly grilled.

This wine is a lot of fun. Not over the top, plenty of interesting notes with the dark red fruit.

Ah, the standard jammy nose of blackberry. And that's exactly the flavors on the palate, with a little acidity and only a hint of tannin. Nice finish too. There's nothing outright spectacular here, but it is solid the whole way through. Definitely worth the price.

Matured for 16 months in a mix of different sized French oak barrels, about 40% new, the final blend is a savory concoction, fruit at the core with earth, mineral and a sense of meaty complexity. Expressive aromas of blackberries and a subtle roasted meat, herbs-de-Provence quality are restated in the supple textured, well integrated flavors of dark berries, bouillon and smoked herb- olive paste. Drink now through 2020.

Tour - Paso Robles - 2017; 9/20/2017-9/24/2017 (Paso Robles, CA) : Unusual mixture - Cinsaunt 29%, Mourvèdre 25%, Counoise 22%, Petite Sirah 11%, Grenache 8%, Syrah 5%. Tasted at Paso Robles winery and bought bottle due to unusual mixture and 2 grapes we had not yet tried. $40 at vineyard, $30 at local store.

Fairly flat up front but some berry flavors come through. Little finish to speak of. Not a bad wine, but certainly nothing that is going to turn heads at a tasting.

Adelaida has never disappointed and this wine is no exception. Mellow yet robust and mature in character well beyond its young age. A+.

Really good when first tasted at the winery, but whoa, this is really, really good! 39% Mourved, 33% Syrah, 26% Grenache and 2% Petite. Plum, some blue fruit, smoke and just the right amount of oak made this an awsome GSM. Enjoyed as a PnP with pork tenderloin and will only get better over time.

Smooth, unctuous, dark cherry/berry flavors, light finish. Drink now - this is peaking.

Inspired by the top cuvees o fChateauneuf-du-Pape, this reverse engineered GSM blend showcases the synergies of these varieties. The wine delivers the savory flavors of a game infused blackberry reduction with hints of Herbs de Provence and campfire smoke.
