This is a spectacular wine and would fool anyone tasting this blind rich, ripe honeydew, stone fruit, Lemon peel, white flowers and crushed rocks. Very exotic and really showing amazing depth and complexity. Exceptional Muscadet

I keep trying this producer and I keep getting disappointed. Lacks the fruit that a good Muscadet should have.

Reasonable for the area but not as sharp and crisp as I like a muscadet.

Strong mineral notes. Bit lacking in acidity. Pleasing mouth feel. But again not as distinguished a bottle as others.

Oddly less structured and angular, less vibrant acidity, than many Muscadet. Very nice stone and white floral notes. Drinks well. Lacks depth that would make it truly compelling.

my last of 6 bottles nose - ocean breeze, lemon zest mouth - minerally, with nice acidity, a very sour unripe orange flavor on the midpalate and finish. nice wine that has its proper place - very hot day, or a superbly creamy pasta dish that needs to be put in its place. for a stand alone quaffer, however, somewhat meh.

Fleeting aromas of damp rock. Rich mouthfeel. A little hot. Needs further bottle age?

Alcohol : 12% Breathing for 2hrs in the bottle. Refreshing honey lemon aromas along with intense almond nuttiness and mineral. This is not sharp nor acidic at all. Rounded with good fruits showing at the entry and mid palate. Getting drier and more precise toward the finished and lingering with a touch of spiciness and intense mineral tone. Very good Muscadet that showing great mineral and brightness.

tasted at cellar then room temp nose - pit fruit, peach, floral, almond mouth - clean high accented pit fruit flavors that are juicy mouthwatering crisp and to the point. or as evan said enough fruit to know it comes from fruit, but not more. great minerality. after many bottles this is the first time really drinking most of this at a warmer temp, and while prev i commented to drink cold, i changed my mind i think it shows …

A bit tight out of the bottle, it really opened up after an hour or so. Classic basis of minerality with a zesty nose and palate of lemon, lemon oil and bright pear. Clean stone fruit, it had. Great dichotomy between purity and mineral driven complexity. Would be amazing with oysters and shellfish...

Dinner at Wild Rocket (Wild Rocket, Singapore) : Wow. This was so much better than the last time round. Properly chilled and paired with a lovely coconut and greens salad, it really soared. It a nice, but unspectacular Muscadet nose, with chalky mineral, seashell and yeast amidst some white fruit and lime notes. I loved the palate though. With the salad, it had all those lovely chalk, and flinty shellfish and saline seaside notes that I love with a Muscadet, …

Top of the cream of Muscadet. It is also more versatile, pairing well with a wider variety of seafood and fish based dishes. Creamy, round , floral, saline... delicious, and I would like to know what would happen to it with more bottle age.

Asher's First Month Party (Momiji Japanese Buffet) : Second bottle in quick sucession, this was a bit under-served by the dinky glasses we had, but still showed pretty well. The nose seemed rather more flinty and seashelly than on the previous bottle - something that I liked - but there was still an obvious ripeness in its white fruit and sweet flower scents, something that was picked up by the palate too. Here, the wine came across as very ripe, …

Dinner at Pavilion Paradise (Pavilion Paradise, MBFC) : First real world test (outside of tasting settings), and this showed pretty well. Again, there was an inmpression of sweetness on the nose, with ripe scents of white fruit, some apple flesh and a bit of melon on a bed of earthy, chalky mineral. The creamily textured palate was also rather ripe, but this time it was noticeably marked by lots bright, juicy citrus acidity and its sweet white fruit notes where …

2010 Muscadet and Burg Tasting (Artisan Cellars, Palais Renaissance) : A solid little Muscadet - this delivers superb value at its price-tag. It had a tightish nose when first poured, with rather unremarkable notes of fleshy white fruit with some ripe tropical hints and just a little flinty seashell edge. It opened up just a bit with time, to show some flowers and a touch of spice. Nice enough, but never quite expressive. It was the palate that impressed me. …

Mostly Old-World Weekend; 9/20/2012-9/22/2012 (Woodley and Cleveland Parks) : Light straw color. Very tropical on the nose, with honey, papaya and mango, but somehow its still really bright. Very creamy on the palate with intense acid. Lots of body, but tons of minerals and acid for balance. Very impressive stuff that would be great to taste again in ten years.
