The last bottle (nr. 001842), alas, once bought at Christie's Amsterdam, showed excellent. The nose was a bit gamy and showed gracefully its age (both in the positive way), the colour was very deep with a brown, still sound, rim. The wine had quite a body, was smooth and ripe, a whiff of cocoa and a long and spicy aftertaste with ripe tannins. Really lovely!

50% Grenache, 30% Carignan, 20% Syrah. Plenty of fruit and structure here but at the moment the Carignan (perhaps) makes it a little awkward. It needs 2 or 3 years I'd say.

See my previous notes, lovely wine, concentrated, but refined; deep in the core you notice its age, so don't wait with this wine.

See my previous note; this bottle was absolutely far better, from colour and bouquet to mid- and aftertaste. The wine was more vivid, more balanced, more fleshy.

Nearly browning, deep colour, gamey, spicy, deep but also alcoholic taste; with aeration the wine got tones of decay. The first of six bottles; wait for my next note.

Very unlike a typical Grenache cuvee (this is almost 100% grenache I believe). Very focused nose. Full bodied, but with a very good and well integrated acidity. Long finish. A lovely and well-made wine.
