Not bad for a cheap wine.

Really not bad, and actually a value. No doubt about the creaminess and roundness from barrel fermentation. Even the nose has the aroma of barrels with some butterscotch, pineapple and citrus. Solid viscosity. Rich entry of citrus, apple and brown spice. Full or close to full malolactic fermentation. Nice secondary ginger and vanilla. Smooth finish with some glycerine and green garden with spicy apple and citrus.

Nice depth for the price. Not a great finish.

Decent everyday wine.

Clear, straw color with a hint of green. Creamy texture, scents of smoke, butter, kiwi, date, leather, and volcanic rocks. Very complex. Medium dry.
