En Primeur campaign for the 2024 vintage Day Four (Bordeaux) : Earthy with slightly savoury soft berry and plum fruit married to Autumnal countryside. It still smells fresh and so it proves on the palate; juicy and fleshy, tacky tannins with red fruit cordial, a sense of breadth, super persistent. Great

PnP. Cork was 80% soaked and broke off. Significant bricking. Initially on opening, predominant oak and tertiary notes made it slightly unpleasant on the nose, but after about 10 min in the glass, earthy fruit notes took over and was showing it's brighter side. Past it's prime for sure but still very enjoyable. Good if not great amount of acidity with significant fruit still left and resolved but lasting tannin.

Bottle in good condition, the cork came out in one piece and was healthy, but the wine had seeped almost up to the top. Showing obviously signs of aging, the wine was not faded but there was absolutely no fruit left. Only secondary and tertiary aromas (blood, rust and herbs) were to be found so the wine seemed rather austere and restrained, although still pleasurable.
