One of those "surprise" wines. Bought it years ago for a house party-- never got drunk. Used half for an italian recipe-- worked out perfect. Rest of the juice went down easily with or without food. For the price, a worthy house wine.

Full bodied but pretty smooth - had it with cheesebread, early summer tomatoes, and sausage, and it was a great match - wonder if it was because it was 2007 bottled - a little tanic on the finish DCP also thinks it was very good

Dried cranberry and cherry aromas. Also predominantly tart cranberry flavors. Good acidity, moderate tannins. A bit thin and a bit one-dimensional, and I don't see it improving with age, but I've got no complaints for $10- nice weeknight wine.
