Not a fan of the style. Found it to be a bit waxy and Viognier like in fruit and mouthfeel. Not my style.

Refreshing white, apricots and dried hay. A touch of barnyard, good minerality. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is but a distinctive and engaging wine nonetheless.

Burggarten Smaragd. Golden/yellow in colour. On the nose pear, quince, baked apple, hints of honey, almonds, floral notes, too. Really complex and intriguing. On the palate fresh as a daisy with good acidity, notes of green apple, lemon zest, camomile. Dark mineral notes, vibrant, bright, lingering and persistent - wow. Amazing. 93-95
