Always delicious with plenty of cracked pepper, dark fruits, and nice acidity.

Flawed bottle...seemingly effervescent.

This remains profoundly intoxicating, and the knee-weakening perfume strengthens with air. The sweet and tangy red berry profile delivers exactly what the bouquet promises, and more. Ridiculous QPR! Probably the highest quality New World Gamay that I have crossed paths with. Wondrous!

Wow, raspberries nearly jump out of the glass. Huge bouquet on the nose. Delicate in the mouth and satisfyingly complex for a gamay

Beaujolais and Pinot blind tasting w/ringer - wow what a stunner and my WOTN by a good stretch. Soaring florals with pretty raspberry fruit and seeds, a flutter of smoke/ash, pepper throughout the wine. An absolute dynamite paring with duck crostini's.

Intoxicating bouquet, elegant texture, medium plus acid, complex finish. Among the top finishers in a flight of mostly New and Old World Gamay.

A&B Oregon tasting (Coopers' Hall, Devonshire Square) : Tasting sample. Quite fresh and fruity on the nose — this has gamay written all over it. A very decent Beaujo Cru. Pepper and vibrant, crunchy dark red fruit. 3+

Tasted over three days, with the same experience. A beautiful wine, generous, inflection-changing, and pure. 93-94.

Wow! The bouquet of purple berries and pepper only hints at the wine's depth. On the palate, it rocks the house, beginning with an explosion of juicy red (lingonberry and cranberry) and purple berries (blackberry and cassis), rhubarb, five blend peppercorn, bramble, and graphite! The real thrill shows at the middle and back, an amalgam of blackcurrant and blueberry infused dark chocolate ganache! This creaminess transitions to a satin texture finish that lingers for a long, pleasant while. Focused, lifted, …

P&p; best with 30+ minutes of air in the bottle. Fresh juicy cherry, cinnamon/clove/cedar and soft vanilla aromas; yet not explicitly oaky; bright and full of life. Similar on the palate; fresh juicy fruit, good acidity, some silkiness to the body while staying light in weight; characterful and quite enjoyable.

This is opening up so nicely! A bit dusty on the nose, like an old barrel. Black cherry, white pepper, and dark chocolate on the palate. Good acid, neutral oak influence, great mouth feel.

Very fruit forward, yet refined. Blueberry on the nose, more ripe cherry and red fruit on the pallet with a good hit of peppery spice. This is showing very well, very young (decanted :90). I have every intention of laying some of this down for 10+ years.
