Good one. GreenPoint Chardonnay has been good from my cellar so what would the Shiraz offering be like? Could be cellared up to 8 years says the label. So it could.... despite coming off the bin end shelves in a Florida store, which is not the best place in the world to age wine, it was fine. Very average Australian Shiraz in that it is has a smooth finish and hints of plum and berry. Not spectacular but yet a nice everyday wine.

Pop and pour. The wine was a pretty garnet color. Its nose was gamey with some pepper/spice. The palate had gamey flavors along with plum and anise. The body was medium bodies with a generally supple mouthfeel and medium finish. Again, a nice wine at this price point.

Very typical of Australian Shiraz. Dark fruits and leather on the nose. Lots of fruit on the palate and a longer than expected finish. Good value.
