Chateau de la Gardine, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Cuvee des Generations Marie-Leoncie

Light golden in color. Pretty nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with nice complexity. Showing lemons, yellow apples, spices, light earth and herbs. Long finish with lemons. This is a delicious Roussanne from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Well balanced with nice complexity. Rich, and showing lots of fruits. Not a traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc in style, and very interesting. Fruity, and already Delicious. Elegant and feels very young. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 …

Acceptable 10 year old CDP blanc. I was told at the Bruniers' shop where I bought this it was 80% Roussanne. It didn't seem to have that tropical zing it can get aged. but still was more than pleasant. Very Good.
