Finca El Origen Malbec Reserva

A tremendously deep ruby pour from this gorgeously designed bottle immediately reveals an appreciation of finesse over showmanship. The aromas are polite, understated and balanced. Violet, dark fruit, tobacco and subtle oak. Silky, grippy tannins bring a finish that reveals a pleasant amount of spice. Nothing about this malbec is overbearing. Rather, everything comes together quite thoughtfully, and the whole experience becomes greater than the sum of its fossils. Great value here.
