This was my last bottle of this syrah. Absolutely gorgeous wine. Pop and pour. Dark garnet color. The flavors were intense and well integrated and the wine has great balance. Earth, dark fruits, spiciness. I would say it is drinking at peak but should go at least another three years.

Yummy stuff. Delicious fruity, earthy mature. A bit of dry tannin was the only detractor.

Wow, this is drinking beautifully now. Pop and pour, dark fruit, rich, touch of pepper. 92 yr. old granpa had the best wow look on his face when he tasted it, and he wanted a second glass! Wish I had more.

this was drinking beautifully, chocolate, blueberry , hint of cola, not over the top at all. i've had wines a lot more expensive than this that weren't nearly as good.

Pop and pour for this wine. Beautiful dark purple color for this wine. Delicious bouquet and palate of black cherry, currants and licorice. Fruit explodes from the glass in this wonderfully balanced Rhone blend. Would love to have more of this wine but alas this is my last bottle of this beauty. Bravo Audelssa!!!!

Still good. Broad and complex with a decent amount of tannin to keep this going a bit longer...

Back to form again with smoky black cherry/raspberry, herbs, smoke and licorice. Firm tannins provide the requisite structure to make this a candidate for midterm aging.

Really tasty syrah that almost drank like Cab with its mineral and herbal backbone. The rich blackberry fruit balanced the creamy oak and kept the wine from being over the top.

This is a great example of new world and old world intersecting and producing a wonderful wine. It's got the GSM notes, but is not too fruity-jammy like some of the Australian wines, that make you feel like you're eating a jar of preserves, this wine has a bit of that rhone-style feeling, but also well balanced fruit. All in all, a very nice wine and well made. If you like Rhone wines but don't insist on tasting the earth …

Tasted a bit more heat on this go around with ripe raspberry, blueberry, vanilla and cream. This deepened as it opened, so a decant might have helped

Drank this too cool so the fruit didn't get to show as well. The last glass was lovely.

Lined this bottle up with other Rhone style blends and this one came out on top! Great nose with hints of Rasberrys and other lighter fruits. Taste was very smooth and elegant but still had a full taste. Glad I have a couple more of these!

Dense dark raspberry, graphite, licorice flavors with a loamy, tannic mouthfeel checked by good acids. Pleasurable and complex.

Terrific wine! Jammy raspberries and cream on the nose. On the palate, layers of fruit, sweet raspberries, chocolate, some earthiness, lots of complexity for such a young wine. The finish is long. Delicious! 93+

Wonderful raspbery fruit with vanilla, minerals and crisp acidity to balance the fine tannins. Really shows finesse and verve. Drink over the next 5-7 years.

Delicious wine. Color inky purple. Nose of dark fruits, berry, graphite and spice, Delicious flavors mimic the nose with a bit of earth. Nice depth with a backbone of sweet tannin that should allow this wine to develop for quite a few years. Happy to have a few more to sample over time. For those that have not been this winery is an exceptional stop on any trip to Napa. The setting is incredible and Dan is an entertaining and …

The wine was a deep dark, but clear color and the essence of black fruits (primarily blackberry) rose from the nose. In the mouth, this beautiful wine was perfectly balanced and was one of the best domestic wines I've had this year. Just yummy!

Loved this wine-tasted two bottles over two days with consistent results. It had the aromatics, balance, and intensity that Eric seems to get out of all their wines. Great cool climate Syrah fruit with mocha and some earth. Loved it, obviously.

It might have been a little early to drink this wine, but we were still not disappointed. Great nose, strong fruit, but the finish was a little painful (even after over an hour of aerating). I will wait a year or two before drinking another one.
