Smoky, dry, minerality, medium mouthfeel. Residual sweetness. Lemon/apple finish

Med gold color; complex nose of peach, mango and a nutty tone; on the palate rich peach nectar with undertones of tropical fruits suggesting a sweet finish but the bracing acidity changes that sensation into a crisp very long finish that is not cloying at all.

Pretty sweet. But enough acid and sly flavor to provde a drop of charm. Honey, apple, petrol. Imperfect for sure -- the sweet does come on strong -- but a friendly quaff.

Nose has candied lemon and peach. Swishing gives a good dose of soft acid that buffers the RS and finishes tart. Sipping shows more prominent RS but this is better than last summer. Easy weeknight Riesling to enjoy with Chinese or Indian fare.

PNP. Color straw. Nose shows lime and a green spice that I can't pin down. Swishing shows bright fruit and acid with a tart finish. . Sipping shows citrus that leans a little towards RS that gives it a flabby feel. Surprising because there is plenty of acid underneath. Decent but I agree that 12 was better.

German Rieslings under $30 (Dan and Courtney's) : Light golden in color. The nose has a grapefruity thing going on. Some wet rocks. On the palate, this is a bit flabby, lacking acidity. Some citrus. Its a nice wine, but the 2012 is much better.

Tasted at Epcot Germany. Decent example of German Riesling. Slightly dry, medium flavors of stone fruits, slight acidity.

Excellent balance of fruit and acidity, with slate and mineral elements to give it complexity. Quite nice.

Light canary yellow color; appealing, tart white peach, light petrol nose; tasty, tart white peach, mineral palate, sweet but with good underlying acidity; medium-plus finish (8% alcohol)

This bottle was quite a bit better than the one I opened a year ago. It could be bottle variation but I think that we served this at a better temperature - around 57 degrees - and the flavors are stronger than when we served it colder. Nice ripe pear and green apple flavors with just a hint of petrol. A nice beam of minerality runs through the wine. Enjoyable.

Excellent with Cantonese style Chinese food. Off-dry but finished clean and dry with a beautiful chalky minerality.

I was disappointed with this. On the plus side I like that it is fairly dry -- on the border between dry and off dry -- and I like the zingy level of acid. The major negative is the lack of much fruit...there are some nice peach and green apple flavors, but they are so muted that I would almost call the wine watery. The cap didn't come off the bottle smoothly -- maybe that had something to do with …
