This is my favorite red wine. I wish I had more in the cellar. It is a very complex wine with multiple tasting layers. It cellars well, but it does require some air time to really open up and blossom. I like pouring it through a Venturi and waiting 4-6 hours for it to decant. It is definitely worth the wait and it is even better on day (that is if there is any wine left). The wine looks purple …

The cork had a slight smell of vinegar. Don't worry. With a little decanting, it was superb. Well balanced. Nice tannins. Light fruit.
