Amber color and look like a motor oil pouring out. Aromas of apricot and honey with a touch of crème brûlée. Nice lush ripe stony yellow fruit flavors with good acidity to balance. Quite impressive and deliciousIn a surprisingly good place now

Tasted after a '98 D'Yquem but still, this was a syrupy mess. The '06 Tor faired much better due to its acid, whereas this was too much like fruity dessert topping. The ripe flavors of orange and honey and apricot were overwhelmed by the sappy sugariness (is that a word?) and the balancing acid was sorely missed. Also, a little oxidized, in the not-as-good way (even for a dessert wine). Probably would have been great 10 years ago...

THICK SILKY SYRUPY WINE WITH TANGERINES AND MELONS IN THE NOSE AND APRICOTS AND APPLES IN THE FLAVOR. VERY LONG FINISH.

Full on honey and apricot. A viscous syrup of very sweet but not cloying wine. Would have like a little more backbone or balancing acidity.

Beautiful amber color, if just a bit cloudy. Full and viscous mouthfeel, with long flavors of pear, sweet honey, tangerine, and orange marmalade on the finish along with the slightest bit of pleasing spice. Beautiful and near-perfect acidity provides the excellent balance this wine manages to achieve. R wanted to give this wine 95-96, high praise indeed. A very good, balanced, and nuanced dessert wine; and when one considers it comes from Turley...well, who would have guessed.

Had this wine with an orange creme brulee dessert. Very rich, velvety, with that great, concentrated roussanne flavor coming through. Pineapple and mango in the finish, that seemed to last forever.

Viscous and syrupy, but with good acidity. Clearly very well-made and not cloying, but lacking the elegance of, e.g., a great Sauternes. Very enjoyable nonetheless.
