On the nose, sour cherry and cherry are accompanied by smoky notes, dark spice, menthol, verbena, thyme, underbrush nuances and hints of mint candy and liquorice. There are also notes of cooked orange, caramelised orange marmalade and citrus peel. On the palate it is dry, with a more closed profile and a rather short finish; the sapidity is pleasant but not yet fully balanced, and the alcohol is not completely integrated at this stage.

Beautiful, well made wine in great harmony. Nebbiolo with good acidity and fine tannins. Good fruit - not as "dried out" style as You might find in Alto Piemonte some times... 14 € at the producer is very good value - as good value as the Superiore that is 10 € more expensive.

With lasagna. Light tanins

1st time with this wine. Quite acidic and unbalanced on first glass and even the same on second day with vacuseal. Last day without vacuseal the last glass were perfection. Nebbiolo Fruits came out bright and long-finishing - acidity is there but no in check. Higher toned Nebbiolo - Superb value.

Clear medium garnet color. Nose consists of cherry/strawberry/hawthorn, pungent pink grapefruit, hibiscus and dry soil/dust. In the mouth, very tart - zippy acidity, medium/light sandy tannins resolves fast and leaves moderately stem-my bitterness. The finish is high-pitched, floral and lingers long, though not intense. Overall, very Pinot-esque, comparable to a generic but good quality red burgundy (beaune in particular). 89-90.
