Château de Beauregard (Joseph Burrier) Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru Les Reisses

Solid white Burgundy, the southerly influence is pretty minimal, this is fine and straight, quite racy in fact, with a lactic edge and all in all rather good. Pleased I bought this and held on to it.

ripe stone fruit, lemon, citrus/melon, carefully imparted oak. Good depth of fruit and flavour, and balanced acidity.

First time with this wine bought as part of a mixed case from TWS EP. Stored until now. Lovely wine - bright, v pale lemon and clear, touch of smoke, brine and lemon on the nose, creamy palate, stone fruit and a refreshing acidity. Lovely now.

Everything you could expect of pouilly-fuisse really. Quite saline with racy acidity, a touch of cut grass on the nose, lovely.
