Cork. 14.5% alc. Quite a buttery gold colour. Nose has no hint of premox though. Florals, butter, lemon, spice. Rich, intense and creamy on the palate. Wouldn’t have wanted to keep this bottle any longer.

Very pleasent. Medium pale yellow. Still some freshness, citrus, thickness, good complexity. Long finish. So nice.

Nutty, stone fruit, only a hint of citrus. Good palate weight, with firmness and richness. Nuts, buttery oak, orchard fruits. It’s young, and hoping the oak gets more integrated with time.

Hits off on the nose with green apple and toasted almond hints, still fresh and fruit forward in a youthful Meursault fashion, full on the palate with lifted acids, dynamic now, sense of entirety, nice grippy fruit, apple, pear, green grape and mineral, drinking well now

Poorer than its pedigree would suggest. This was just an ordinary villages Meursault. No flaws, other than the label. I don't have a suggestion of how to fix the problem -- that's up to the vlllage officials to police. But somebody ought to police it, or else the previously highly-rated,"Meursault", will become devalued because if inaccurate labelling.

{Bought on release, #2 of 6, sound cork} Essence of Meursault. Great villages. Lovely long 2017 depth of flavor, textured and fullish, would say a bit more depth and a touch less incisive acidity compared to the 2014. (I think this wine is better). Not a lightweight wine but not heavy either. Real quality here and a great match with fish with capers and lemon... Would have reported how it held up overnight but piratical family finished the bottle!

Charles Buisson Meursault VV 2019 On the nose, after a while - almonds, lemon, citrus with a slight mineral edge. On the palate, lifted citrus notes, good minerality, hints of almonds and butter. Good acidity and linear, good length. Everything in nice balance. Good wine. 93/100

Excellent village level Meursault. Tropical and lemon fruit with a good mineral backbone. The acidity is at a good level to keep some tension and balance in the wine. It is a delicate Meursault but it gains depth and weight as it airs. I had it over the course of 3 hours. Better at the end than in the beginning. Good stuff.

Väldigt bra. Välbalanserad blandning av fräsch och fet. Snygg.

Hors class. Essence of Meursault. CSIMM's note from Nov 2019 nails this wine. Superb villages. A wine for gourmands and connoisseurs and total neophytes. It's delicious, a wine you keep going back to for another sip. The balance is outstanding. It doesn't have the complexity that a Perrieres or Charmes has but it's easily the quality level of many premier crus.

Generous, ripe, rich and heady. Textbook Meursault. Sappy orchard fruits and almond butter. Textured and full. There's some mineral below the flesh and the finish is fresh and long.

Tasted together with the 17’ Buisson-Charles Les Tessons, 1er Les Cras, and 1er Goutte d’Or. Quite plump and rich, not completely devoid of freshness. Rich, somewhat weighty, and creamy in texture, though missing the tension of the others, and may have suffered due to being alongside the classier wines.

Sharing the same bottle of wine with friends - Covid 19 style : Tasted it two times this week. First pour was straight vibrant lemon and pear with a powerful acid streak. As electric as a Tesla. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Consumed a 5oz container 5 days later - acidity tamed a bit, lush bright fruit lapped like a gentle wave, really brilliant depth of citrus and stone fruit that gets sappy and coats the mouth.

Vibrant and fresh yellow citrus core, with a notable balance that straddles fun energy with a focused and deliberate cadence. Very pure, with a medium-bodied attack that makes continuous sipping far too easy. As SWHIGHLANDER noted, it's a bit simple and doesn't yet push into a more saturated depth level, however, it's somewhat moderate complexity is brought better to life with its compelling equilibrium. Hold for another couple of years ideally. 91-93 points.

Medium yellow in color and extraction in flavor. Fragrant, medium body and acidity which nicely balances the fruit. Simple as to be expected from a Villages level wine, but more complex and better than most of the Meursault villages wines I've had. Enjoyable.

Needed about 60 minutes to open up. Initially a bitter back-end taste which mellowed after some time to open. Drinking well now, but I would not wait any longer. Paired very nicely with charcuterie.

An excellent village wine that shouts Meursault. Very representative of the village characteristics though rather modern in style. This would not feel shy among 1er crus. Good palate weight. Only complain was the rather short finish. But hey! This is a village! Good now.

Only a vague facsimile of the wine I tasted at SP. Two bottles in, and this hasn't shown the same wonderful character as the wine I originally tasted. Nice enough, just doesn't have the texture or weight and character of the wine tasted at SP. WTF?

If you look up ‘quintessential Meursault’ on Wikipedia there is a picture of the 2007 Buisson-Charles Meursault V.V. It is rich and heady with ripe peach fruits, some almond notes and plenty of dairy. It is buttery rich in the mouth with good volume and excellent underlying minerality. There’s a big lick of citrus acidity on the finish keeping all the voluptuous elements tucked in.
