Third red wine tasted at Lourensford Wine Estate from their Limited Release series. This bottling is made up of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Merlot and aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak. Dark ruby red. Complex nose with dark berries, plums and graphite. Medium plus tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied with some toasted spices, earthiness, cassis and black cherries. Very dry and long finish. Drink till 2026. (92+)
